Fathers 4 Justice Canada Participate For The 5 Year In The Vancouver Pride Parade - 2010
Fathers 4 Justice Canada - Sunday - August 01/10 - participate for the 5 year in the annual Vancouver Pride Parade to the delight of the
estimated 800,000 in attendance. F4J Canada participants and supporters arrived in the marshaling area of the parade for 11:00 AM.
After a minor mishap we were positioned in the marshaling area and busied ourselves with last minute preparations for the parade. At 12:00
noon we were ready to roll with our float of everyday heroes. This years F4J Canada's entry in western Canada's largest and most colorful
parade included a 30 foot trailer decked out with structures to stand on, a mock family court with Justice Dread presiding, flags, banners and a
line up of everyday heroes that was second to none. These included the BC Hulk (Kevin Christiaens), the Victoria Superman (Doug Hanlan),
Bat Girl (Klara), Super Girl, Cat Woman (Birgit), Cowboy (Murray Williams), Indian (Tina), Construction Worker, Egyptian (Luis),
Venom (Simon), Navy Dude (Bren), police Woman (Anca), Hyejung, Fire Fighter (Peter Ku), Robin QC (Hal Legere), Police Man (Julian),
Don Williams (Driver of float), Victoria Spiderman (Stephen Hodges Whittaker), Spider Woman (Susanna), Wonder Woman (Layla),
Dakota (Photography), Sandy, Gladiator (Perth), and the Burnaby Batman (Rob Robinson).
Fathers 4 Justice Canada would like to thank all those who participated and all those who have supported us over the years in our actions to
raise awareness. F4J Canada was well received in this years event by the estimated 800,000 in attendance and further welcomed the
opportunity to spread our message of equality to the masses.
