Fathers Day
Dear Fathers and Grandfathers,
Happy Fathers Day from all the invisible children.
Even though some of us don’t know who you are, we
still think of you on your special day and about the
bonds we would have shared.
I hope you are all doing well. Some of you might feel
like broken record players thinking “Next year, next
year. I’ll see them next year”. But just so you are
aware, it’s what most of us children are thinking too.
Although we are not blood relatives, I am told by a
very Special Lady, my Mom, that we are still family.
Through F4J and using our voices we are fighting for
the same outcomes. Hopefully it has brought together
a few Fathers or Grandfathers with their
children/grandchildren.
My wish to you this year is that you don't give up
hope. Because we need you.
My other wish is that I come across a field of
dandelions.
So, from me to all the Fathers and Grandfathers who
have lost so much – Happy Fathers Day.
