On April 18, 2009 F4J Fathers 4 Justice Canada and Parental Alienation Awareness Organization joined forces to distribute information on
Parental Alienation/Hostile Aggressive Parenting as well as information on Equal Parenting in Alliston, Ontario. "With awareness comes
education, and with education, comes the power to stop the mental and emotional abuse of children.-Sarvy Emo"
The Pre-Parental Alienation Awareness Day Event was a huge success. Sadly, it confirmed just how rampant PA/HAP is in our Society... And
how little is known about this particularly damaging form of child abuse. Parental Alienation is viewed by F4J - Fathers 4 Justice Canada as a
form of child abuse and we believe that any arrangement not equal for the outset lays the groundwork for one parent to be alienated from the
child. The group recently had two Directors in attendance at the Canadian Symposium for Parental Alienation Syndrome, which featured key
speakers from Canada and the US on this topic that is seeing unprecedented media coverage and recognition in the courts. Presenters at the
Canadian Symposium also reinforced F4J – Fathers 4 Justice Canada’s pursuit for Equal Parenting as a means of stopping Parental
Alienation before it starts. F4J – Fathers 4 Justice Canada will continue to raise awareness of the need for Equal Parenting after separation
and divorce as the best interest of a child. F4J – Fathers 4 Justice Canada and Sarvy Emo – Founder of Parental Alienation Awareness Day
would like to congratulate Mayors Tom Walsh, Adjala-Tosorontio and Mike MacEachern of New Tecumseth, also known as Alliston, home of the
Honda plant, for issuing Proclamations in support of recognizing April 25th as Parental Alienation Awareness Day. They and their councils have
shown a great amount of character for understanding how this harms innocent children.
We would like to extend a special Thanks to Mayor Tom Walsh for taking time out of his busy schedule to attend the Pre-Parental Alienation
Awareness Day Event and making a special presentation of the Proclamation to F4J – Fathers 4 Justice Canada – Member, Paulette
