Fathers4Justice Canada - Sept.25/04 - Robin QC - Profile Page
Why does a 48 year old ( otherwise relatively sane ) man don a costume (Tights) and climb a tall prominent structure?
My real name is Hal Legere, otherwise known as Robin QC (Boy Wonder) of Fathers 4 Justice Canada. In case anyone is wondering, QC
stands for "Quite Cute". I am not sure if this came about because of the tights or the added brain of the person who coined the title. I have
been advocating for Family Law Reform since 1999. I was shocked at how easily I was torn from the lives of my children through the divorce
process and after the shock wore off I vowed to do everything I could to stop the insanity. My initial, organized involvement was as a founding
member of the Parents Coalition of BC. I served on the board of Directors for a number of years and even a stint as President. I wish to
commend the people I worked with in that organization for the wonderful work they have done over the past almost decade now. I had a view
that the issue needed a higher profile and when F4J came to Canada I joined up almost immediately. To me this was a necessary part of the
evolution of the movement.
On September 25,2004 I climbed the Pattullo bridge and proudly hung the banner of Fathers 4 Justice Canada. Since that event I have
worked on the board of Directors of Fathers 4 Justice Canada and have been very proud of all the work the organization has done. Not only
high profile people, but also those most have never heard of, working diligently behind the scenes to further the movement and in many cases
assisting me in getting on track to further the simple and straightforward message - "Kids Need Both Parents
